The service is accessible without the need for user account creation. Users can securely log in to Snapshare through specific QR codes (Snapshare-ID), which ensures confidentiality through end-to-end encryption.

Document-specific QR codes are supplied by the owner of the receiving application. For instance, if a user's tax consultant utilizes 'Dr. Tax Professional', corresponding QR codes will be provided; alternatively, if 'Dr. Tax Privat' or a cantonal tax solution is employed, users must generate these codes within the respective application.

* Currently, Snapshare is compatible with the tax application 'Obwalden eTax', with integrations for additional platforms like 'Dr. Tax Privat' and 'Dr. Tax Professional', along with various Swiss cantonal tax software solutions, underway.
